I grew up in the Tenderloin of San Francisco in the 1980s. I went to SFUSD public schools, Spring Valley, Francisco, and Lowell High School. I attended UC Berkeley and studies Spanish and Science. After attending Tufts University in Boston, MA, I became a High School Spanish Teacher in Oakland, CA. After teaching for several years, I returned to school at UC Berkeley and studied Educational Leadership. Later, I became an Assistant Principal at the Academy of Arts and Sciences, in SFUSD. Personally, I enjoy traveling, making hip hop music, being active, and being in nature.
